The heating situation is less than ideal. central heating wasn't functioning properly, and a small oil radiator struggled to keep the room warm. The bathroom was particularly cold, with hot water taking ages to arrive. I noticed some shabby decor, which made the room feel neglected. Noise from the main road could be bothersome, as well as sound traveling from adjacent rooms, making it hard to find peace at times. while the accommodation has potential, some improvements are definitely needed.

the room was clean and tidy, and made me feel at home. the receptionist was super friendly, and it was nice that i had a tea makin facility in the room. the place is quite, which is great for solo travelers like me. good location since its close to the bus stop, made it easy to get around. overall, decent stay for the price.

the bathroom door handle creaked really loud and the toilet lid was annoying since it would just close while i was sitting down. also, there were no hooks to hang towels which was quite inconvenient.

I had a delightful stay with a fantastic full English breakfast. The room was spacious and included all the essentials. Loved having the option of a late check-out too!

I stayed one night in a Standard Double Room. The room was clean and tidy, and the bed was super comfy—slept like a log. It had a cute kitchenette and a modern bathroom, which was a nice surprise. Only downside was that the garden was closed, which I was bummed about because it was one of the reasons I chose this place.

Spent 4 nights here with family. Super easy to park, which was a huge plus! The room was clean and cozy. The staff were really sweet and helpful. Had breakfast once. it was tasty! One bummer though, the wifi was spotty in our room. Perfect spot if you're near the hospital!

My stay at this cozy guest house was enhanced by its fantastic location, being just a short stroll away from picturesque parks and the historic University Church of St Mary the Virgin, which I loved exploring during my free time. really, if you’re a city wanderer, this spot will be perfect for you with clean, comfortable rooms and easy check-in and check-out but the carpets could use some refreshing.

The morning I checked out I had a lovely breakfast with plenty of options it was a bit like having a feast before heading into a long day and the room I had was nice and clean with a very comfortable bed making it easy to get a good night sleep after a long journey
